SESSION 2025-2026

Brochure Making on UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Event: Heritage Club Activity

Date: 8th May 2025

Class: III-IX

As part of the Heritage Club’s ongoing efforts to spark curiosity and build appreciation for our shared global heritage, Bhai Parmanand Vidya Mandir observed Heritage Club Activity of Brochure Making Activity on 8th May 2025. It was centered around the theme “UNESCO World Heritage Sites.” This hands-on and creative initiative encouraged students to delve into the rich history, cultural importance, and unique features of world-renowned heritage sites.

Students from Classes III to IX enthusiastically participated in the activity. Each class was assigned a specific continent, and based on a set of shared parameters—such as cultural significance, historical background, and conservation value—students selected one UNESCO World Heritage Site from that continent to research and represent.

The task was to design an informative and visually appealing brochure, combining research with creativity. Students included fascinating facts, historical timelines, maps, images, and thoughtful messages about the importance of preserving these global treasures. Their efforts brought to life iconic landmarks such as the Taj Mahal (India), Machu Picchu (Peru), the Great Wall of China, and the Pyramids of Egypt, among many others.

The final brochures were displayed in a vibrant exhibition, creating a space where students could explore each other’s work, learn about different cultures, and see how diverse and interconnected our world truly is.

Through this activity, students not only gained knowledge about global heritage but also developed important skills in research, design, communication, and cultural understanding. Most importantly, the experience instilled a sense of pride and responsibility toward protecting the cultural and natural wonders that shape our world.
