As the cream is churned to extract butter, similarly talent can be churned at a very initial stage of learning to obtain the genius out of a person. We BVMites we keep on organizing various activities to hone and accelerate the talent of our young erudites. Keeping this in view, the Tagore house organized a Spell Bee competition on 31st July, 2018 for classes VI to X. Third round was the antonym round in which students were asked the antonyms of different words. Next and final round was the rapid fire round in which the participants had to spell various words in a limited time period. This way, various words were added to their active vocabulary. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the competition had been truly inspiring, informative and entertaining one.
Writing is an important part of our daily lives. It is, however, a difficult skill to learn and master. By getting a head start with some simple activities, our school helps the children begin to develop their writing skills at an early age. This will be contributing to the future success as a student and as an adult while teaching how to express themselves. To enhance the writing skills of the students, an Article Writing Competition, was organized for the students of Classes IV and V by Tagore House on 6th of July, 2018. Various topics were given to them. The students enthusiastically participated in the competition. It was encouraging to see the creativity in our young learners’ articles.
